With April being Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month, I have added a few links to the blog for additional resources on the topic.

Our librarians have also put together a book display with fiction and nonfiction books on Child Abuse and Sexual Assault. If your student would like to check out some of this reading material, it is located in the library to the left past the counter in the non-fiction section. Many thanks to Susan and Suzanne for putting this together.

The Wellness Group sponsored a hiking trip to Bradbury Mountain State Park in Pownal on October 30, 2008. The group of 25 students and 5 staff members enjoyed a great afternoon of hiking, as well as frisbee, football, the playground and my favorite part, hot chocolate.
